Measure the child, not the age on the hanger. Chest and height first. If between sizes, size up for coats and rain sets. Occasion pieces sit closer — stay true to height if the child is slim.
These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Individual pieces may vary; the product page is the last word. If a listing uses 2y / 4y / 6y, match them to height on this chart (about 92 cm, 104 cm, 116 cm).

How to measure
- Height: child standing, no shoes, against a wall.
- Chest: tape under the arms, around the fullest part, not tight.
